Summary:
Our company seeks a highly motivated data protection and privacy policy professional to fill a contract role of Privacy Policy Manager.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record in privacy, as well experience in the AI, Generative AI, and/or risk governance fields.
Responsibilities:
Work cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Privacy, and Communications, teams, as well as global policy teams to build and drive policies that guide responsible AI governance and product development
Support engagement with policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, key opinion formers, non-profit groups and others to contribute the development of policy frameworks that will help guide private, safe and responsible innovation
Determine Privacy Policy positions and advise on the Privacy Policy implications of new strategic topics
Monitor and research current and relevant emerging policy issues and thought leaders
Coordinate across multiple internal teams – to incorporate their skill sets into the creation of an overall governance strategy and support for major product launches
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in internet technologies, security, privacy, integrity, safety, content moderation and the surrounding policy environments
Experience in AI/GenAI governance
Experience with government relation and/or policy issues
Pay range is $82 - $87 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
