Summary:
The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.
Responsibilities:
Support development of new innovative solutions with advanced technologies to solve large scale Controllership-wide problems
Align the work of the various controllership system sub-teams and hold them accountable to the delivery of the roadmap
Align the multiple engineering teams and assist the sub-teams and Controllership leadership in driving these priorities into upstream product Eng. roadmaps
Challenge the status quo and bring new methods and techniques to the workforce. Involved in change management to drive adoption of new systems, tools, & methodologies.
Synthesize very complex data findings into logical conclusions and impact assessments for leadership recommendations
Engage in in-depth technical conversations with engineering teams; educating and influencing the data and architectural builds; assist the broader teams and help them surface/overcome roadblocks
Define, document and implement data management and data quality standards. Support teams to solve new data concepts and metadata problems.
Apply thought leadership on system development life cycle methodologies and leverage them in ambiguous scenarios.
Coordinate with PMO, Engineering, and various sub-teams on finance project intake, prioritization etc.
Must Have Skills:
Experience implementing large scale financial systems and accounting requirements within product implementations
Demonstrated success working with large, disparate data and systems – financial programming systems/ Oracle Fusion
Experience translating functional accounting requirements into technical architectural designs and partner with Eng. on the design discussions.
Familiar with accounting, controllership, internal audit, and/or risk management principles
Bachelor's degree or certification in information technology, financial engineering, data science (ML/AI preferred); or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with programming language such as SQL
Nice to have Skills:

Pay range is $102 - $107 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
