Under the direction of the Coding Integrity Manager, the Transcription Data Analyst principally processes dictated transcribed information from Transcription vendors. This individual supports transcription processes through importing vendor transcription work and completing key verification activities. In addition, this individual responds to transcription related inquiries from physician offices, facility departments, and additional applicable facility personnel. Lastly, the Transcription Data Analyst acts as a liaison between outside transcription vendors (as applicable), coders, physicians, and facility personnel.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 year Medical Records experience or other healthcare related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training College level medical terminology and anatomy and physiology.
- upon hire: Registered Health Information Technician-RHIT, CMT, or enrollment in a healthcare related program.
