Two to four years college in Communications, Education, or related field Two to three years as a trainer in either a business or in a commercial environment. Two to three years in designing and developing e-learning courses using authoring tools like Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline. Two to three years of operations experience in a bank or in a credit union. Ability to utilize all training tools and technology such as computerized training equipment, overhead projector, video training an...d multimedia equipment, and printing aids. Ability to be flexible for constant changes of schedules, plans, and priorities. Ability to independently complete projects. Ability to handle administrative duties with little guidance; self-starter. What YOU'LL do:Confer with managers to gain knowledge of work situations, which require training for employees to better understand any changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies. Assist in developing course content that aligns with learning objectives and ensures a seamless user experience. Collaborating with SMEs to gather course content and ensure accuracy. Work closely with Operations, Information Systems and Technology (IST), and other departments; participate in appropriate committees to develop forms and procedures; recommend policy changes; implement new products, services, and programs for the credit union. Assist in developing training programs to successfully bring staff to a high level of competence and alignment with the objectives of the credit union. Schedule and conduct continuous training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation and on-the-job training; use of computers and of software; compliance issues; sales and cross- selling techniques, quality of member services; health and safety practices; refresher training and leadership development for management and for staff of the credit union. Assist in selecting or designing teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works. Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training; report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods; and handle all related paperwork. Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation and on-the-job training; use of computers and of software; sales techniques; regulation requirements; health and safety practices. Report progress of employees, under guidance, during training periods. Organize and maintain sources for employees such as the reference library, training manuals, testing and evaluation processes, training website page, and other educational materials.
