Responsibilities:
Approve hours prior to payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review and approve employee expenses according to company policies and procedures.
Manage 401K updates, changes, and enrollment processes, ensuring employee understanding and compliance.
Handle and resolve queries related to payroll processing, collaborating with the payroll department as necessary.
Manage time off requests and holiday schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels and compliance with company policies.
Develop and maintain the Employee Handbook, ensuring it reflects current policies and regulations.
Stay updated on HR rules, regulations, policies, labor laws, and industry best practices.
Source resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews for potential candidates.
Prepare offer letters, contracts, and guide employees through the hiring process.
Manage group insurance programs and assist with reimbursement matters for employees.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
Strong understanding of HR rules, regulations, policies, and labor laws.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience in payroll processing and familiarity with 401K administration is a plus.
