Required qualifications:
- High school Diploma required.
- Five years' experience in Human Resources in a benefits, leave management or generalist related position, with a minimum three years’ experience in ADA/interactive process administration.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state disability laws, specifically ADAAA, FEHA and FMLA/CFRA; experience with CA leaves required.
- Strong knowledge of the interplay between the FMLA/CFRA, workers’ compensation, and the ADAAA.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of disability management, return-to-work strategies, ADAAA and related state and local statutes.
- Ability to analyze, problem solve, organize and manage multiple priorities, and effectively follow up in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills including consistent demonstration of solid professional judgement.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including effective presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience working in a Healthcare environment with high volume of accommodation cases.
- Overall understanding of associate benefits as they relate to leaves of absence, short/long term disability, COBRA, state disability pay, etc.
- Experience with Lawson, JBDev or leave case management software preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $74,256.00 to $103,667.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
