Adecco is seeking a motivated individual for a VP Broker within our expanding specialist reinsurance broking team. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team, provide support on existing clients as well as help develop new business with insurance companies and retail brokers across all lines of business.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop new relationships with prospects and markets and maintain ongoing contact
Work with account management support during the placement process to ensure quality submissions and presentations are prepared
Work with actuarial team to determine appropriate reinsurance/insurance needs and communicate solutions effectively to clients and prospects
Negotiate with markets during the quotation and placement process of both reinsurance and program placements
Work with account management support and contracts department to ensure accurate treaty contracts and program placements
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients at senior level
Work with Account Management and Internal Claims, Operations and Finance departments to ensure administration of accounts is going smoothly and help resolve issues that require broker assistance
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years experience in a similar role
Bachelors degree preferred
Preferred certifications: Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI)
Motivated to learn and grow in an evolving market
Has a strong appreciation and understanding of current issues affecting the industry
Communicates in a clear and practical manner both verbally and in writing
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
