Become aThird-Party Program Advisorat Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will have ultimate accountability to ensure these 3rd party programs deliver on stated goals by leveraging data to provide recommendations, identify and resolve internal bottlenecks, and guide day to day program operations. The Advisor will be responsible for overseeing a subset of the 3rd party program portfolio, which overall totals $281 million in budget and will evolve and grow as future solicitations continue under the new 3rd party model. This position will perform continuous and rigorous oversight over the current and future programs within the Advisors purview. Additionally, the Advisor will develop a proficient understanding of the programs managed, build strong relationships with 3rd party vendors, and comprehensively review the goals and work of any new, future programs entering their scope.

- Supports contractor performance and provides input into end-to-end internal process to ensure program goals are met including:
- Facilitating day to day operations needed to support 3rd party managed programs (e.g., ensuring quality assurance / control performed within SLAs, projects prioritized effectively).
- Helping to support lead point of contact on solicitations to surface contract issues and amendments.
- Deriving and compiling insights from performance analytics (e.g., common issues, leading indicators, customer feedback) and providing recommendations to improve performance.
- Develops deep familiarity with relevant contract(s) and measures for programs in sphere of influence including:
- Collaborating with solicitations and senior advisor, if necessary, to design contracts with strong market fit.
- Attending solicitations meetings and providing input on contract development and vendor selection based on knowledge of market.
- Coordinates 3rd party managed program launch using cross-functional support including:
- Reviewing and providing feedback on implementation plans developed by vendor.
- Ensuring vendor clearly knows the quality standards / rules for offering measures to customers and collaborating with quality assurance / control to resolve any issues.
- Creating 3rd party onboarding materials and executing onboarding process.
- Providing recommendations on program marketing based on knowledge of market / historical data.
The essentials
- Seven or more years' experience with contractor or performance / resource management (e.g., field force operations, business operations, supplier management).
- Five or more years' experience within\: program management, project management, business operations, project consulting, or similar functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook).
The preferred
- Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- Working knowledge of Energy Efficiency programs, policies, and contracts.
- Experience with developing and executing program implementation workplans.
- Entrepreneurial mentality with ability to run competing priorities and deliver results.
- Proficient problem-solving skills with hypothesis-driven approach.
- Consistently able to synthesize and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ability to proactively assess gaps and develop processes, tools, solutions to remediate.
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior management.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and desire to build collaborative partnerships across 3rd party contractors and cross-functional project teams.

- This positions work mode ishybrid.The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
