The Administrative Supervisor for the Department of Electrophysiology has the responsibility, authority, and accountability in the Electrophysiology Lab and Arrhythmia Office for 1) faculty practice and clinic operations 2) capital expenditures and inventory management 3) facility and materials resource management 4) secretaries and other non-clinical personnel 5) clinical and business information systems 6) finance and billing. The individual is expected to demonstrate leadership abilities as well as resource management skills. The position works with management in hiring and termination of associates, ensures compliance with policies, and regulatory requirements. Addresses quality of work, errors, and in-servicing of associates.
Requirements
Associate degree, required; Bachelor Degree, preferred
Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting
Demonstrated proficiency in Inventory management, professional and technical billing, prior-authorization and insurance verification, effective leadership techniques.
Bilingual spanish preferred
