SUPERVISION
• Serve as supervisor of daily operations of the entire Corps facility.
• Supervision, recruitment and training of corps administration staff
• Supervision, evaluation and professional development of all staff.
• Supervisor to all seasonal workers.
• Directly supervise the staff as indicated in the chain of command detailed in the organizational structure.
HUMAN RESOURCES
• Implement personnel policies and practices of the NEO division as related to the corps.
• Maintain all Human Resources records, forms and documents and keep all documents secure.
• Process, file, and transmit payroll data under the supervision of Corps Officers.
• Maintain attendance controller and log all employee absences, vacations sick time, etc.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
• Be responsible for communication with all staff positions in the Pastors absence.
• Conduct consistent staff meetings alongside of the Corps Officer.
• Oversee the compilation of accurate, timely statistical reporting to DHQ and funders.
• Explore potential funding sources in cooperation with the Area Services. Assist in the preparation and review of funding requests.
• Prepare reports as requested for Area Services, DHQ, funders, community providers, etc.
• Manage main office of the Corps and all pertinent equipment: Copier, fax, etc.
• Be responsible for the inventory and purchasing of all office supplies and equipment.
• Have responsibility for all in-house printing and mailings.
• Establish and maintain all necessary filing systems, including, but not limited to the standard Salvation Army system.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with both public and private agencies in the community.
• Attends meetings in the community that relate to relevant community issues.
• Represents The Salvation Army at special events, as requested.
• Respond to request for public speaking opportunities within the community.
• Identify and assess the needs of the East Cleveland Community.
• Take minutes in all staff and Advisory Council Meetings.
• Participate in and support the implementation of special activities and events for the Corps as requested by the Corps Officer.
• Assist with administration of seasonal programs (Christmas, Kettles, Back-to-School, and Summer Youth).
• Assist with the registrations for all holiday activities, meals and toy programs.
• Attend conferences as recommended by the Corps Officers.
• Oversee volunteers, Court Community services, and clientele from various county Work Experience Programs rendering services to the East Cleveland Corps.
ADMINISTRATIVE
• Make weekly reports to the Corps Officer pertaining critical financial status.
• Keep all income and other official documents secure in the Corps safe.
• Complete deposit slips and make deposits to bank as needed.
• Manage and keep secure the Corps Petty Cash.
• Responsible for processing invoices for payment.
• Maintain records of all gift-in-kind donations.
• Maintain vehicle logs for all vehicles and make submissions to DHQ.
