Title of Position: Restaurant General Manager
Job Description: As a Restaurant General Manager your responsibilities would include the overall performance of your restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service are being met both in the front and the back of the house. The Restaurant General Manager instructs, trains, coaches and develops their staff to create an environment where enthusiastic people are recognized and rewarded for achieving both professional and personal goals. The Restaurant General Manager oversees the recruiting, hiring and the retention of superb employees. The Restaurant General Manager will conduct staff evaluations and ensure that all personnel are adhering to company expectations and guidelines as well as ensuring compliance with state and health department standards. The Restaurant General Manager should have a strong knowledge of P&L management and financial reporting and analysis.
