Role and responsibilities:
\n-Manage all aspects of an organization's environmental compliance,
\nincluding development and implementation of policies, procedures, and
\nsystems to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
\n-Participate in conducting inspections, audits, and investigations; report
\nenvironmental incidents, compiling findings, and recommendations for
\ncorrective action through root cause analysis findings.
\n-Collect environmental samples and field measurements from the field
\noperating facilities.
\n-Stay current in research on new technology relevant to environmental
\nissues, such as alternative energy sources or pollution prevention
\nmethods.
\n-Effectively communicate to convey ideas and information to others such
\nas teammates, contractors, and suppliers.
\n-Utilize problem solving skills to develop solutions that help their
\norganizations meet environmental regulations.
\n-Evaluate environmental issues and/or concerns, raise awareness, and
\nlead resolution through collaboration of environmental strategies.
\n-Responsible for data entry of environmental reporting metrics for
\nrequired permitting and key reporting compliance; analyze
\nenvironmental monitoring data and prepare compliance reports.
\n-Utilize Environmental Management System (EMS), maintain dashboard
\nand calendar of compliance tasks.
\n-Coordination and training of teammates in the identification,
\ndevelopment and implementation of environmental goals, policies, and
\nprocedures, which have a positive impact and add value to the
\norganization.
\n-Attend public hearings, conferences and events on environmental
\nissues as requested by the Company.
\n-Champion for organization-wide environmental sustainability goals and
\ntrack ESG data as required.
\n-Unfailing commitment to follow all safety procedures, perform risk
\nassessments prior to commencing unfamiliar tasks, and seek to identify
\nand implement proactive safety and environmental improvements.
\n-Other duties may be required and will be assigned as necessary.

Ability, Skills and Knowledge:
\n-Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or closely related field; or
\n5+ years demonstrated progressive experience in environmental
\nmanagement roles.
\nUnderstanding of environmental sampling and data interpretation and
\nregulatory environmental compliance requirements. Experience with
\nCAA, Title V permitting, CWA / NPDES, CERCLA / SARA, RCRA,
\nEPCRA Tier II - CRTK, TRI, etc.
\n-Ability and commitment to comply with all applicable federal, state,
\nindustry regulations and standards.
\n-Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, while building
\nrapport with team members and external agencies.
\n-Knowledge of auditing and inspection expectations with environmental
\nregulators / agencies such as EPA, DEQ, County Health Department,
\netc.
\n-High level of integrity and commitment to compliance, record keeping
\nand overall team results.
\n-Knowledge of engineering calculations for permitting, reporting,
\ncompliance and to support project goals.
\n-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with accurate data entry skills.
\n-Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that the teammate be
\navailable to report to the designated work site / office and be ready to
\nbegin work when scheduled
