The Corporate Senior Accountant will report directly to the Corporate Controller and be an integral part of the Corporate accounting team. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the preparation of certain monthly journal entries and associated account reconciliations within the corporate accounting close process, the coordination of the Company's SEC Filings (Forms 10 K, 10 Q, 8 K, DEF 14 A (Proxy), Form 3 and 4, and other SEC related filings as needed), ensuring adherence to all financ...ial statement disclosure requirements in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules and regulations through completion of quarterly and year-end checklists, maintenance of financial reporting records, and performance of certain monthly and quarterly close responsibilities including, but not limited to the preparation and review of balance sheet and income statement analyses, select footnotes with associated support and coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests. Responsibilities. Prepare monthly corporate journal entries along with certain account reconciliations and analyses to support such journal entries recorded as part of the monthly/quarterly close process, Prepare monthly payroll related journal entries for posting and payroll bank reconciliation,Coordinate and track business unit monthly financial package submission in accordance with Financial Reporting Calendar,Drive and support the external reporting process including the roll forward, production, update and tie-out of Form 10 K and 10 Q drafts for distribution, Responsible for quarterly consolidated account analyses, specifically AR, Inventory and Accrued Expense,Prepare quarterly disclosure checklists (GAAP and SEC),Coordinate the filing of Forms: (i) 10 K and 10 Q (quarterly); (ii) 8 K as needed; (iii) DEF 14 A Proxy (annual); (iv) Form 3 and 4; and (iv) other SEC Filings as deemed necessary,Coordinate and respond timely to Internal and External Auditor requests and deadlines,Collaborate with all Corporate Departments (AP, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Payroll) as it relates to Corporate reporting related matters,Prepare and coordinate the timely submission of the U.S. Census reporting requirements,Special projects, ad hoc requests as needed, such as supporting implementation of new accounting standards.
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting,Active CPA license preferred 3-5 years of total accounting experience, with a minimum 2 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred), Ability to interpret and apply GAAP - Strong analytical skills,Understanding XBRL tagging and Workiva SEC Reporting Tool a plus.
