Essential Functions:
Demonstrate the values and guiding principles of OhioGuidestone every day, performing with the highest standards of excellence, integrity and ethics.
Provide operational direction for Youth Programs which include: Youth Residential, Foster Care, Clinical Services & OhioRise
Provide operational and clinical leadership ensuring a safe environment and high-quality clinical care for youth patient/clients.
Develop and execute operational and financial growth goals for assigned programs.
Provide guidance to Program Directors on program management, financial management, HR, and operations-related matters to ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules and regulations and funder requirements.
Collaborate with leadership team to ensure a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Develop, refine, lead clinical and operational processes and workflows improvements through industry recognized team oriented techniques (examples being Lean or Kaizen).
Promote clinical/service excellence to ensure staff and client/patient satisfaction by proactively addressing the clinical development and training needs of programmatic leadership and staff.
Manage financial and revenue growth, work with leadership team to ensure accuracy for reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes.
Collaborate with community partners and payors to support assigned program needs; serve as representative/brand ambassador for programs (e.g. attend client and community engagement events as requested or required).
Ensure sites and programs exceed all internal and external Standards of Conduct, accreditation, legal and regulatory requirements.
Act as a leadership liaison between families, clients, and employees for complaints, concerns, requests, and information, and assure that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality care is provided at all times.
Stay current on related industry knowledge and trends through educational opportunities, publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations.
Ensure and create/maintain family engagement and advocacy interventions, policies, and procedures are being met to promote family contact, support, and engagement for youth across program portfolio.
Lead regularly scheduled case meetings, weekly communication meetings, and other staff meetings.
Assist with the identification of funding opportunities, and actively participate in proposal writing and program budget creation
Collaborate with Human Resources to develop, implement, and maintain effective strategies for the recruitment and retention of a culturally diverse team; lead team members using a performance support process that includes goal setting, routine feedback, and ongoing development.
Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new and/or share responsibilities as requested or required.
Demonstrate positive leadership, promote an inclusive work environment and present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
Education & Experience:
Master’s Degree in social work, nursing, public administration, business administration, or related field
10+ years of experience in an environment with 24/7 operation working with juveniles or young adults (residential, corrections, etc.)
5+ years experience in progressively responsible leadership roles, preferably leading multiple programs.

Ability to assess issues, challenges, and topics quickly with a proven record of accomplishment of getting up to speed and adding immediate value to new situations and initiatives.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing clinical policies, procedures and quality improvement programs.
Proven ability to build and manage team members with diverse skill sets and backgrounds.
Effective interpersonal skills; able to speak effectively with individuals and/or groups of people
Ability to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and good professional judgment
Flexible; able to work days, evenings, and/or weekends, as desired to meet the needs of clients
Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple priorities with strict attention to detail and perform work independently.
Must be able to access work locations, offices, and homes as necessary, which may include ascending/descending stairs.
Possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
Successfully meet pre-employment drug screen, physical exam and tuberculosis test requirements.
Successfully meet all pre-employment background requirements.
