Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Finance. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategies, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and contributing to the overall success of the Care Delivery organization. The successful candidate will lead the financial operations and health of the organization, provide strategic partnership on the senior leadership team, play a key role in payor and provider contract negotiations, provide pricing strategy for each service offering, and own the revenue cycle management function.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to internal senior leadership, the Executive Leadership Team, and external stakeholders.
- Contract Negotiations:
- Lead negotiations with payor organizations, providers, and vendors to ensure favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with legal and operational teams to review, draft, and finalize contracts.
- Support the Care Delivery organization on evaluation and performance of potential expansion, merger and acquisition growth opportunities.
- Pricing Services:
- Develop pricing models for healthcare services in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and reimbursement rates to optimize pricing strategies.
- Revenue Cycle Management:
- Oversee and optimize the revenue cycle process, ensuring timely and accurate billing, coding, and collections.
- Implement best practices for revenue cycle efficiency and compliance.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance and billing team.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting professional growth and development.
- Senior Leadership Team:
- Actively contribute as a member of the senior leadership team, providing financial insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other department heads to achieve organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience:
- 11 years progressive in finance, with a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within the healthcare industry.
- 3 years management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement models, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated success in contract negotiations and pricing strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial concepts into actionable plans.
Salary Range: $152,720 - $283,487
