As a Process/Project Engineer, you will become a valuable technical asset to the Plant by providing process and project engineering support and optimizing plant manufacturing performance. Your projects will lead to improvements in personnel safety, process safety, and the plant’s production
capacity and capabilities. You'll also participate in new product introduction and product cost improvement for the Fresno Plant.

What You Will Do (Including But Not Limited To):
- Apply engineering skills to troubleshoot process, equipment, and quality failures and propose solutions/recommendations to the plant; lead efforts as needed.
- Identify productivity and process improvement opportunities that will improve OEE, equipment utilization, product quality, or provide cost savings.
- Provide technical support for production and reliability of the operating units.
- Work with pilot plant and research groups to introduce new products to the plant or to improve current processes.
- Conduct new product introduction activities, which include developing work instructions for new products and interfacing with
SAP. - Develop engineering solutions to findings from PHA's, root cause analyses, etc., and champion ideas through implementation.
- Conduct Root Cause investigations of process and safety incidents.
- Participate as technical representative in Plant or Project PHA’s and lead as needed.
- Lead Management of Change activities for modifications to the process.
- Manage multiple projects with different priorities at various phases of the capital process
- Develop project scopes with input from several disciplines: process engineering, operations, materials movement, safety, construction
- Work closely with Construction Coordinator to ensure projects are delivered on time and schedule
- Work with cross-functional teams to complete full EPC on small to medium capital projects including engineering
- Produce project scope document, Request for Quotes and bid comparison
- Complete project cost estimating and Capital Authorization Requests to be presented company-wide to the Capital Review Board
- Train plant operators and update plant procedures, as needed for Management of Change process or other plant needs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain equipment, process, and/or product manufacturing procedures and other applicable technical records.
