Job Title: Compliance Assistant - Mortgage

Status: Direct hire, FT on-site Mon-Fri
The ideal candidate will have a background in Mortgage Compliance ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
Duties:
1. HMDA Management – review and correction of errors for submission monthly
2. Assist and provide backup to Chief Compliance Officer on any State or External Audits, Quarterly NMLS Call Reports and Onboarding of New Hires as needed.
3. Complete OFAC reviews as per written procedures as needed.
4. Background checks for New Hires
5. Annual background checks and searches
6. Annual Branch reviews
7. Maintain and assist with all Secure Insight requests including locating closing agents already registered or completing registration request of new closing agents as applicable.
8. Follow up on Bonding requirements for the company and ascertain that all invoices are sent to Accounting for payment.
9. Initiate and Maintain tracking of various continuing education for Staff with regards to AntiMoney Laundering, Fair Lending, new programs, etc. Maintain reports and disseminate to Management and Human Resources.
10. New Vendor Vetting and Follow-Up. Research and report on findings for any new third-party vendors, establish contact, and obtain all necessary requested documentation to comply with vetting.
11. Initiate monthly reports for management to assure the ECOA, REG B, ATR-QM, and UDAAP rules are being followed.
12. Additional responsibilities as requested by his/her direct supervisor.
Qualification:
• Must have Excel experience.
• Encompass experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 Per Year
