The SSA Manager shall oversee functional areas of the warehouse including stock control, receiving, issue, turn-in, shipping, storage, material management, stock readiness, central receiving point, hazardous material management center, serialization of sensitive and nonexpendable equipment, and internal fuel delivery. Briefs Accountable Officer of all warehouse-related issues and or issues that may impact customer support. Attends Logistics Readiness Center briefings as directed or required. Pla...ns and directs personnel and required resources for day to day mission support.Networks with commodity managers for disposition of excess. Coordinates the movement of serviceable and unserviceable excess for turn-in to DLA Disposition Services. Performs analysis of warehouse performance standards to measure warehouse effectiveness and determine methods to increase overall warehouse management efficiencies. Provides oversight and guidance for both the Hazardous Material Management Center and Central Receiving Point operations. Responsible for reviewing, discussing and signing monthly surveillances given by SSA COR. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: The SSA Supervisor must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply, storage, bulk fuel, subsistence and equipment management processes, warehouse and inventory management functions of multiple class of supply SSA consisting of Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, and IX repair parts, related regulations and is required to ensure effective accountability of all assigned property. Must possess operational skill and knowledge of the automated supply, fuel and subsistence systems utilized. Job Requirements
The SSA Manager must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in supply management.
