Construction Project Coordinator
As the primary point of contact, verifies completion of critical tasks and proactively supports all stakeholders involved on project teams to include Supervisor of Facilities and Planning, Project Managers, contractors, and vendors.
Administrative Support
Prepare project management reports and meeting minutes.
Manage project documentation including contracts, budgets and schedules.
Maintain best practices templates.
Administrative duties to include but not limited to copying, travel arrangements, expense report preparation, teams' meetings, etc.
Ensure that projects are accurately closed out and all invoices, lien releases, etc. are correct and received in a timely manner.
Manage approved vendor list.
Facilitate RFP’s as needed by Project Managers.
Organize and track project RFI’s for PM approval.
Request pricing for construction related items and materials.
Work with landlords to obtain tenant allowance.
Manage project warranties and request.
Process PO request for Project Management team.
Create PO’s
Pay invoice.
Manage payment tracker.
Project Management
Ability to support Project Managers on larger more complex projects.
Support Supervisor in managing design and Architect.
Communicate project information to operations and facilities.
Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Experience
1– 2 years practical experience
Construction experience or previous support of project managers, preferred.
Self-motivated
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal & external clients.
Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of construction preferred.
Ability to multi-task
Work with a team and independently.
Ability to reprioritize.
The starting pay range for this position is:
$25.56 - $34.08
