Collaboration with Sales Team
Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with the Region’s Sales team. Together, you will develop and execute strategic plans aimed at driving sales and business development initiatives. This includes participating in pre-sale technical support by developing project concepts and alternatives, performing technical analyses, and crafting detailed technical scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.
Technical Support and Client Engagement
A significant part of your role will be to provide technical support during the pre-sale phase. You will assist the Sales team in technical presentations, explaining RES products and services to potential clients. Addressing clients' questions and helping them understand design requirements and constraints will be crucial to shaping water resource and resiliency solutions that meet impactful, achievable goals.
Land Acquisition and Project Evaluation
Your technical expertise will be vital in the land acquisition process. You'll ensure selected sites provide optimal, cost-effective technical solutions that meet customer success criteria. Additionally, you will evaluate the project's proposed quantitative and qualitative benefits with the support of the project team. This includes helping the opportunity team develop estimated revenue and cost projections for projects, which are crucial for determining the feasibility of proceeding with a project.
Marketing and Outreach
Part of your role will involve supporting marketing activities by attending and presenting at conferences, seminars, and other industry events. Topics of interest for these engagements may include water supply resilience and aquifer recharge, water quality resilience, management and treatment of non-point source and point source discharges, total maximum daily loads (TMDLs), saltwater intrusion, nutrient reduction, and flood resilience for both terrestrial and coastal areas. You will also cover subjects like water quantity storage, volumetric water benefits, alternative water supply, hydrologic restoration, and the management and treatment of non-point source and point source discharges.
By engaging in these activities, you will help to promote RES’s capabilities in water resource and resiliency solutions, driving business growth and strengthening client relationships.
