- BS/BA degree in Business with 2 years of work experience. Or Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with 2 years of management work experience – managing complex laboratory with multiple research projects.
- Ability to apply scientific expertise and knowledge of biomedical research methods.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Experience with financial planning (formulating annual and multi-year budget estimates).
- Experience creating standard operating procedures and coordinating compliance with staff members.
- Extensive reporting experience (generating and reconciling*), highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the NIH organizational structure, its goals, objectives, programs, and policies desired.
- Familiarity with federal hiring practices, strongly desired.
