Job Summary
Under the direction of the Site Administrator, serve as a liaison between the district personnel, students, parents, community, and public agencies; may perform supplementary paraprofessional duties in the areas of attendance, discipline, and health; coordinate and conduct various community engagement activities to support the academic achievement of students; communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English and Spanish.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bilingual / Biliterate Required.
Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: Associate degree in education, social service, behavioral science or related field and two years of experience working with culturally diverse school age youth, their parents, and the community or as a primary communicator/coordinator for an organization. Incumbents in this classification are required to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.
