Our Impact:
We are seeking a Risk Development Technical Lead who is a confident, self-motivated, and creative professional to focus on data analysis for BI tools and reporting. This position is for the Innovation, Data Engineering and Analytics (IDEA) sector under Freddie Mac’s Investment and Capital market's Division who will be the liaison between business units, technology and IT support teams with proficiency in data, technology and architecture.
Your Impact:
Overall, your expertise within data and analytics will make the most impact across the enterprise, while your ability to lead will have a tremendous effect on our team. Responsibilities include design, development, support, and handling of risk management systems and technologies that support Credit Risk Management, Market Risk Monitoring & Reporting, and Operational Risk. You must develop resolutions to sophisticated problems that require the frequent use of resourcefulness and creativity. As a lead you will be encouraged to accomplish work without appreciable direction, exert considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment, and serve as an organization spokesperson on specialized projects or programs.
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or Computer Science related field or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
8 - 10 years of steady related professional experience
10+ years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and technical skills
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of one or more commercial cloud offerings (AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud, etc.)
Excellent SQL programming skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with database, data model and data warehouse concepts
Familiarity with Agile project methodology

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $139,000 - $209,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
