Job Summary
The Caltech Facilities department seeks highly motivated summer intern to assist with special projects.
We are looking for a talented, energetic, positive office assistant. The right candidate can multi-task in a high energy work environment, exhibits a can-do attitude, and strives to exceed expectations.

Essential Job Duties
- Multi-task in a high energy work environment.
- Exhibit a can-do attitude and strive to exceed expectations.
- Work with computers — MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Work with copiers scanning large volumes of documents.
- Organize scanned documents into logical cloud file structures (Box, SharePoint, etc.).
- Visit locations throughout campus to gather asset information (flooring surfaces, dispensers, etc.).
- Prepare accurate list of all data gathered.
- Organize samples.
- Help the team achieve Institute goals.
- Exercise good judgment, logic, and learn new things quickly.
- Perform high production and repetitive work.
- Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Basic proficiency with cloud file storage (Box, SharePoint).
- Eager to help the team achieve its Institute goals.
- Good judgment, logic, discretion, and ability to learn new things quickly.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting critical, time sensitive deadlines.
- Able to use discretion when visiting campus locations.
- Able to multi-task.
- Able to shift seamlessly between priorities.
