Solugenix is assisting a client, a leading financial services company, in their search for a Receptionist. This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity based out of Santa Ana, CA (Onsite).

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years related experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to take and write notes, routine reports, and correspondences, as requested. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Ability to calculate basic figures and amounts such as percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Identifies and resolves problems promptly; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem-solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors to the office. Operate multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel.
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines the purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel, department, business unit, or office; transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with addresses, directions, and other general information; welcomes on-site visitors, determines the nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Monitors visitor access and issues visitor passes as required, may need to update appointment calendars, and accept deliveries.
- Receives, sorts, and routes applicable mail/packages left for employee or customer pickup, may be required to create, and print, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary.
- May be asked to order, receive, and maintain office supplies.
- Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating. May be asked to work on special projects for other departments/business units. Works on standard issues/problems while performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $19/hour to $19/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
