The Injection Department Manager directs production and maintenance within the Injection Molding Department. In this role, you will play an integral role in upholding Plastipak’s standards of excellence and helping exceed customer expectations.
You Will:
Lead the Injection Department to ensure efficient production operations.
Develop plans for optimized use of materials, machines and manpower.
Prepare the department budget and maintain adherence while managing production cost and product quality.
Manage direct reports to ensure positive performance management, professional development and recognition.
Participate in TPM efforts while driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Contribute to the site’s cross-functional achievement of cost, delivery, quality, safety and reliability goals.
You Have:
Minimum of five years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Plastics industry experience required; injection molding preferred.
Proven track record of shaping a high-performance department.
Ability to develop and operate effectively within established budgets.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with peers, management, and vendor representatives.
