Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the deli meat packaging plant.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and company policies.
• Train and mentor production staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety or quality concerns.
• Resolve any production issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff members.
Qualifications:
• Food Science degree or related work experience is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food production, preferably in deli meat packaging.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and GMP principles.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
