The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) is the largest academic unit at Rutgers University and the center of the undergraduate experience on the Rutgers–New Brunswick campus and is comprised of 41 academic departments spanning the liberal arts.
SAS offers more than 100 majors and minors across the life sciences, humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and mathematical and physical sciences with research centers and institutes across the school. With a diverse student body of more than 20,000 students, SAS has a membership of over 1,700 faculty members, more than 500 administrative staff, and 200,000 living alumni.

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Educational Opportunity Fund Department within the School of Arts & Sciences.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Oversees the coordination of financial aid, outreach, and recruitment, and Article III (student grant) funding.
- Coordinates all recruitment activities and is the SAS EOF liaison to the Office of Financial Aid, OSHE (Office of the Secretary of Higher Education) for student grants, and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Makes recommendations, develop strategies to improve outreach initiatives, and to meet admissions goals.
- interfaces with other University offices and programs that serve prospective and current SAS EOF Scholars.
- Supplies direction and training for EOF recruitment initiatives and strategies regarding admissions and outreach programming.
- Assists with policy development and chairs the SAS EOF Further Consideration Committee.
- Collaborates and partners with university offices, external agencies, and departments to secure additional funding, scholarships and financial support for SAS EOF students and is responsible for working with the Office of Financial Aid and the Dean of Students Office to disburse Emergency Educational Assistance funds.
- Collaborates and provides direction to ensure that student services and student support policies and processes are effective and constructive. The person in this position is a member of the SAS EOF Leadership Team.
