Position Overview:
The Talent Management and Engagement Professional will partner with both Succession Planning/Talent Management and Engagement leaders to support and elevate the talent and engagement experience across Freddie Mac. The talent management professional plays a meaningful role in identifying, developing, and retaining top-performing individuals within the organization.

Implement firm wide initiatives in partnership with Human Capital Team, for succession planning, talent management, and employee engagement activities.
Support engagement surveys throughout the year to include events, communications, and project planning.
Partner with and Learning and Development teams continuously in the spirit of growing and developing talent within Freddie Mac, ensuring expectations are being met and opportunities for continuous learning are identified and extended.
Build connections across divisions to generate new insights, drive impactful results, empower others, foster followership, and maintain a high bar for talent, while encouraging an environment of trust, collaboration, and belonging.

Drive strategies to improve employee engagement with programs crafted to strengthen our culture including but not limited to, engagement survey execution and follow up, retention, recognition, diversity, wellness, and other activities aimed at creating a positive workplace culture aligned with our mission and values.
Effectively collaborate and partner with team members and colleagues to view the employee experience holistically including engagement surveys, talent reviews and succession planning.
Your Impact:
Contribute to the execution and enhancement of the enterprise, talent, and engagement strategy by ensuring our talent strategy provides a smooth transition for leaders and reduces our people risk.
Develop innovative and creative engagement solutions with a willingness to push and challenge for transformative outcomes.
Reduce organizational people risk by identifying and developing top performers and successors in the company to promote intentional transitions and employee opportunities.
Demonstrate business acumen, partnership with the business to understand and collaborate on their strategic priorities, goals, and culture strategies.
Participate in enterprise-wide HR project work, partnering with peers across the organization to build and share enterprise solutions for talent and engagement challenges.
Measure efficiency of talent and engagement strategy and programs to ensure business efficiency.
Include DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) as a strategic partner in everything you do.
Qualifications:
Proven track record to partner with business leaders and translate their needs into actionable initiatives; capacity to meet high expectations and key success factors and metrics in business terms.
Comfortable with ambiguity; a creative problem solver and be able to continuously innovate.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Strong executive presence and ability to communicate ideas to senior leaders. Solid understanding of the financial services industry or other highly regulated environments.
Workday and Asana knowledge is a plus.
2-4 years of related human resources and/or business experience
Bachelor’s degree

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $72,000 - $108,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
