DESCRIPTION
As an experienced Compliance Manager within Amazon's Last Mile Logistics and Claims Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day compliance activities and initiatives for this critical operational area. You will collaborate closely with the senior Compliance Manager to enforce policies, plan audits, and resolve any compliance issues that arise. A key focus of your role will be developing and delivering targeted compliance training programs to educate the logistics and claims teams. You will also identify opportunities to implement stronger controls, processes, and governance mechanisms to enhance risk mitigation and regulatory compliance for last mile delivery and customer claims management.
Key job responsibilities
Manage the compliance activities and initiatives for the Last Mile Logistics and Claims Management functions
Partner with the senior Compliance Manager on policy enforcement, audit planning, and resolution of compliance issues
Develop and facilitate impactful compliance training programs tailored to the logistics and claims teams
Drive the design and implementation of stronger controls, processes, and governance frameworks to improve risk and regulatory compliance
Oversee procedures, reporting, document management, and quality assurance for last mile operations and claims management
Continuously monitor business controls, evaluate their effectiveness, and recommend enhancements
Conduct risk data analysis, generate compliance reports, and identify trends that require corrective actions
Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, claims, legal, and other stakeholders to address compliance gaps
Define compliance program objectives, quantify improvements, and drive progress against metrics
Represent compliance programs to internal and external partners, including defending them as needed
Mentor and develop more junior compliance professionals on the team
Qualifications:
6+ years of compliance experience, preferably within logistics, operations, or claims management
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements impacting last mile delivery and customer claims
Proficient in using data analysis tools to monitor compliance and drive continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive change
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, legal, or a related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
