Opportunity
In this position, you will:
- Be the overall client executive leader for a large renewable energy account, by developing strategies that deepen the Industry expertise within HUB.
- Develop and implement a strategic insurance program to support the current and ongoing growth of the client’s risk management needs.
- Develop strategic relationships with specialty Renewable Insurers in concert with and in support of Hub’s Subject Matter Experts.
- Educate the client on HUB’s value, service, and offerings.
- Oversee all aspects of the client’s insurance program through policy administration, market analysis and negotiations, and service needs.
- Work with and coordinate product line specialists including Property, Casualty, Professional/Executive Lines, Construction, Marine/Cargo, and others as needed.
- Advocate for the client to be the leader in the renewable energy insurance market.
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of HUB’s core business partners and their products.
- Optimally work with and lead the client service team to ensure effective and efficient service, evolving to the growing clients’ needs, including a robust pipeline of construction projects.
- Creating processes and procedures to effectively manage and streamline workflow.
- Work with the client and HUB Subject Matter Experts to ensure the optimal coverage and pricing is offered, including negotiating key terms and rates.
- Support the client by providing technical support, product and industry education, etc.
- Demonstrate success by developing strategy, managing complex initiatives, and meeting agreed upon goals and outcome.
- Ability to interact with senior executives, to develop and gain support of a vision and strategy, and to operate effectively in the Renewable Energy space.
- Develop and execute innovative Renewable Industry strategy, collaborating closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to identify emerging trends, assess market opportunities that will position HUB for future growth in this space.
- Working collaboratively in a team environment to research and knowledge share in the area of Renewable Energy.
- Support initiatives in the development of new product development and awareness in Renewables.
- Attend and participate in ongoing education for industry knowledge
What You Bring To The Table
You are perfect for this opportunity if you:
- Have at least 10+ years of related insurance sales, underwriting or risk management experience within the P&C space, with 5+ years in renewable energy.
- Hold the necessary insurance licenses (active and in good standing).
- Have demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization.
- Are computer proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented
- Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills required
- The preferred candidate is a team player with a great attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- College degree preferred.
Required Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience (5+ in renewables)
Required Travel: Up to 50%
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) or equivalent work experience.
