Education
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed herewith are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum three years verifiable experience working in an industrial maintenance role of similar capacity at an industrial manufacturing facility, verifiable military experience, PLUS a certification/degree in at least one of the following:
• Industrial Electricity/motor controls or a state issued license
• Journeyman’s Card (Electrical, Maintenance, Millwright)
• Welding certification (3G or 4G, preferably 6G
• Fluid Power Systems Certification (Hydraulic and Pneumatic)
• Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering 2 year degree
Individuals not having the required education and experience list above will be considered an entry level technician.
Work Experience
Experience in troubleshooting PLC programs via computer
Proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
Ability to multitask and utilize the time available to organize and complete work within given deadlines
Operate equipment (lift trucks, aerial work platforms).
Computer skills especially Microsoft Office
Languages English, additional language preferred
