GENERAL PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:
As an ERT (Emergency Response Team) Lead, you will oversee the verification of security-related
alarms, video management, and access control systems, in addition to providing situation updates to
client management. This position will assume responsibility for the shift and personnel by providing
supervision. This position could be deployed to a work project up to 200+ miles from the nearest Allied Universal
office. Each deployment will be temporary, for a time period that will vary by assignment. While
deployed, the officer will typically conduct foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior), control
access and egress, compose reports, deter criminal activity and misconduct, and perform other duties
as specified in post orders.
Hourly Rate: $30.00 (Full Time Graveyard)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a current and valid Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Security
Officer License issued by the State of California (Guard Card) - Must have a current and valid California state driver’s license
- Must have succesfully completed the PC 832 Arrest training ( a valid certification will be required to present)
- Must have valid Baton permit
- Must have valid OC and Pepper Spray permit
Additionally applicant must possess one or more of the following:
o Prior Service in any Military Occupational Specialty or related to law enforcement
o Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement,
adult corrections, or firefighter field
o In the process of obtaining, or have already obtained, an Associate’s degree in law
enforcement or criminal justice related studies
o A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a security or supervisory
role
