Solutions Architect
Key Role:
Develop and lead matrix technical teams to solution concepts, architectures, plans, and narrative elements in support of captures, proposals, and business development efforts. Support complex and technical bids, including identifying clients’ requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and communicating client impact. Support competitive and competitor assessments. Apply leading-edge technical principles, theories, and concepts throughout the business development life cycle. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the solution design and architecture will score strengths and resonate with the client. Work on complex problems and provide innovative solutions for high-priority opportunities. Communicate effectively with the capture team, senior leadership, teammates, and other stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with multi-discipline solutioning for government clients in analytics, big data, cybersecurity, engineering, digital solutions, predictive analytics, C4ISR, space systems, or AI/ML
Experience with proposal development and bid submission
Experience with opportunity capture management
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with developing complex technical solutions for large captures
Experience with leading multidisciplinary technical teams
Experience with developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with corporate teams, clients, and industry partners
Experience with the business development life cycle and solution-selling methodologies
Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
Master's degree
Shipley, APMP, Lohfeld, or Capture Processes Training Certifications
Professional Proposals, Capture Management, or Solution Architecting Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
