Job Abstract

We are seeking a self-starter with excellent people skills, balance of technical skillset and domain knowledge of product operations relevant to high tech equipment manufacturing.

The role will support Global Product Operations at Lam research and partner with business users, enterprise applications and IT teams to deliver systems requirements covering portfolio of GPO systems / application needs (Example. product options architecture, NSRs, PPM (Project/Product Portfolio Management) systems). Candidate should be well versed with systems analysis, solution design, data, information security best practices and be able to execute the same.

• Actively engage with cross functional teams and product vendors to understand the current state of business processes, systems, and support solutioning for future state and / or continual improvement of current state systems.
• Facilitate the discussions between business, architectural & technical /systems team to elicit and document requirements.
• Assess opportunities and/or solutions for compatibility with enterprise architecture.
• Assist project/program teams to get approvals to new softwares and solutions or material changes to existing solutions, from systems/technical architectural committees.
• Plan and coordinate execution of testing cycles such as SIT (Systems Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
• Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in business systems analysis and/or architect role for an enterprise level program support product operations.
• 5-8 years of in-depth experience (technical and functional) in Product configuration/options architecture solutions (SAP Variant Configurator, SAP SD, SAP Fiori),
• Expertise in following systems preferred in addition to above: product portfolio management (Planview), Lab Information Management Systems
• Core BSA ability to cover breadth and engage in systems analysis / design in one or two areas outside of the immediate area of expertise.
• Experience working with technical teams such as ABAP, Basis, Portal, Security, PLM well versed and experienced in of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and Agile project management methodologies.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
