Job Abstract
The primary purpose of the Medical Records Clerk (Prep/ Scan/ Index) position is to prepare and/or scan documents into the electronic document imaging system. Examines pages and verifies patient information on each page. Maintains scanning equipment. Indexes scanned images, while analyzing the quality of scanned documents.
