Job Description Summary |
The Talent Management Specialist provides recruitment, administrative and customer service support for the University to help attract and onboard the best talent. Supports the Talent Management team with recruitment administrative processes. Primary facilitator of New Hire Orientation for all new hires. |
Minimum Qualifications |
- 3 years of general Human Resource Experience and/or recruitment experience.
- 3 years of recruitment experience with job postings, offer letters, conducting orientations, data entry, and excellent customer service.
- 2 years of experience serving a diverse community of internal and external customers in a high paced work environment with a strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- 2 years of experience or knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, quality-focused but time effective, ability to solve problems and achieve measurable and attainable recruitment goals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain effective relationships. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present in small and large groups.
- Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications, internet, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and HRIS system experience.
- Able to exercise a high level of discretion and confidentiality is a MUST.
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to perform a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with other HR functions.

Preferred Qualifications |
- BA in HR Management or similar field preferred.
- Human Resource experience working in Higher Education preferred.

PHR or SHRM certification a plus.
- Social media experience and social networking experience preferred.
- Experience with recruitment in higher education preferred.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and internal equity.
