The engineering internship offers a student the opportunity to apply classroom concepts in a manufacturing setting while gaining valuable first-hand experience working with state-of-the-art pasta production, and packaging equipment. Job Responsibilities: Help performing design work, conduct research, gather information, and conduct feasibility and economic studies of projects. Assist at development of all project documents including project justifications, engineering designs, specifications, cost estimates and schedules. Assist at writing the Capital Expenditure Requests for all capital projects. Develop new reports as needed and/or maintain existing reports for the department (ratios, KPIs, costs analysis). Help develop and update P&ID drawing Optimize CMMS usage and PM development to improve OEE Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and management personnel to successfully complete assigned projects. Learn good manufacturing and food safety practices. Other duties, as assigned Basic Qualifications: Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have experience with mS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) Must be able to deal with multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Successful completion of at least 6 semesters of an accredited Bachelor’s Degree Program in Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering, Industrial Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Eng or other applicable engineering field.
