HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR JACKSONVILLE OFFICE
Job Purpose:
Our Credit Operations Specialist will be responsible for carrying out accounting clerical duties associated with a specific accounting function.
Job Responsibilities:
\u25CF Utilize various credit systems to help fraud prevention of Credit Card accounts.
\u25CF Administer programs, projects and/or processes specific to the operating unit served.
\u25CF Work on complex customer master situations and discover root problems and provide solutions.
\u25CF Create, amend and administer customer accounts on a daily basis.
\u25CF Process all credits for Veritiv or subsidiary (Paper Plus) locations and customer credits that affect warehouse inventory.
\u25CF Reconcile third party freight vendor invoices (Data Freight) on a weekly basis.
\u25CF Create additional billing to customers for charges (freight, cutting, etc.) or inventory that has been delivered but not billed.
\u25CF Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
\u25CF Deliver daily review reports to identify outstanding orders for follow up and works with Operations, Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues.
\u25CF Verify and update specific types of billing orders to match back up documentation.
\u25CF Update orders (quantity, item, price, misc. charges, etc.) prior to billing and/or cancels/voids printed orders.
Work Experience:
\u25CF 3-5 years of related job experience.
\u25CF Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
\u25CF Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.
\u25CF Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
\u25CF Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
\u25CF Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
Education:
\u25CF Bachelor"s Degree Preferred
