Help Desk Technician Summary:

Here at BridgePoint, the Help Desk Technician provides Tier 1 support while resolving technical problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity issues and maintaining excellent communication and customer service.

IT, Information Systems, Information Technology, IT, Help Desk Tech, Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, Desktop Support Technician

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, Preferably in Information Technology or Related Field

Licenses/Certification: N/A

Experience:

• 2 - 4 years of experience

• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.

• Working knowledge of office automation products and Computer peripherals like Printers and scanners.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong interpersonal skills to work directly with the internal staff.

• Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.

• Experience providing help desk support a plus.

• Desktop Support Engineer experience preferred
