Job Summary
Under the direct supervision and evaluation of the site principal, the Middle School Math Teacher is a highly qualified teacher of mathematics who works with middle school students; demonstrates exemplary instructional practice; and, possesses a deep understanding of the Standards for Mathematical Practices and Mathematics Content Standards for the purpose of designing and implementing effective instruction to improve student achievement results and close achievement gaps.
Requirements / Qualifications
To be considered for this position the following documents are required - A copy of your Single Subject Credential; Math, CBEST Card, English Language Learners Authorization, and Verification of Subject Matter Authorization
Resume, a letter of intent, 3 letters of recommendation, all written within one year - Also, if you are a current certificated employee you should include your most recent evaluation.

Medical insurance plans are available on the Azusa Unified School District website in the staff section. Employees working a 90+% assignment are required to take at least single coverage health insurance with the Azusa Unified School District or provide proof of coverage through another group plan.
