Purpose
The Operational Brand Directors primary responsibility is to ensure consistent implementation of brand strategies across all operational channels. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute plans that align with brand objectives. This role will oversee day-to-day activities that drive brand visibility and growth. Additionally, the Brand Director will analyze market trends to refine strategies and optimize brand performance. This role requires effective communication and leadership skills to inspire teams and maintain brand integrity throughout all operational activities.
Operational Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards that align with the brand and ensure efficiency, consistency, and excellence.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance and profitability.
- Collaborate with executive chef and General Manager to develop seasonal menus, wine lists, and special promotions that align with the restaurant's brand and target market.
Staff Training and Development:
- Partner with the Training Department to design and implement comprehensive training programs for all front-of-house and back-of-house staff, including managers and chefs.
- Conduct regular training sessions to educate staff on service standards, menu knowledge, wine pairings, hospitality etiquette, and other relevant topics.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure management and staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development to promote career growth and employee retention.
Guest Experience:
- Lead by example in delivering personalized, attentive, and memorable guest experiences that exceed expectations.
- Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and take proactive measures to address concerns and enhance satisfaction.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies to enhance guest loyalty, drive repeat business, and attract new clientele.
Financial Management:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop monitor performance against targets.
- Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability while maintaining high quality standards.
- Review financial reports, analyze variances, and make data-driven recommendations for improving financial performance.
Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environment.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu development, wine service, and culinary trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards or certifications
- Proficient in Windows MS Office, Open Table, Outlook
- Knowledge of profitability analysis and budgeting, cost of sales, payroll management, purchasing, receiving, inventories and cost controls
- Knowledge of state and local laws as it applies to liquor, labor, and health code regulations
- Experience with POS systems and back office reporting systems
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21+ years of age
