R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Biospecimen Associate II in Pleasanton, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Biospecimen Associate II:
Works under general supervision to deliver simple, efficient solutions in preparation and receipt of shipments, verification, processing, storage, retrieval and distribution of samples, and management of sample collection materials and laboratory supplies.
Maintains end-to-end traceability of all biological materials and associated data sets handled.
Maintains an audit-ready, validated work environment, such as laboratory, equipment and databases, in accordance with established procedures.
Adheres to departmental work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA safety regulations and Good Laboratory Practices to perform assigned tasks while handling hazardous biological materials (BSL-2).
Understands business processes and proposes simple solutions for process optimization.
What we are looking for in a Biospecimen Associate II:
High School or GED and 5 years of relevant work experience and/or certifications required (e.g., EMT, phlebotomy) OR Associates Degree in a biological discipline or a related field and 2 year of relevant work experience OR (preferred) Bachelor s degree in biological discipline or related field
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Able to lift 30lbs, work in cold environment with limited daylight, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders
Meticulous attention to detail.

$51,209 $68,640 (Dependent on Experience)
