The City of Riverside, Public Utilities Department (RPU) is accepting applications for the position of UTILITIES ASSOCIATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER OR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER OR SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to fill one (1) vacancy in the Electric Division. The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months.
Utilities Associate Electrical Engineer Salary Range: $39.16 - $47.60 per hour.

Under general supervision, the Utilities Associate Electrical Engineer provides general electrical engineering work for Public Utilities. The incumbent designs, investigates, and participates in the construction of electrical utility projects.
Utilities Electrical Engineer Salary Range: $46.38 - $62.15 per hour.
This job classification is a union position and represented by SEIU.
Under general supervision, the Utilities Electrical Engineer provides skilled and professional electrical engineering work for Public Utilities. The incumbent designs, investigates, and participates in the construction of electrical utility projects.
Utilities Senior Electrical Engineer Salary Range: $59.41 - $72.21 per hour.
This job classification is in the Professional employee group and not represented by a union.
Under general supervision, the Utilities Senior Electrical Engineer is to perform supervisory and professional electrical engineering work in the design, investigation and construction of electric utility projects and to do related work as required. As incumbents progress through this job series, projects become considerably more technically demanding and may involve direct supervisory responsibilities and duties.
