What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-SOAS Growth Strategy Intern, you will provide support to CACI-SOAS as we respond to federal acquisition requests to support US National Security interests. Your role will integrate and synchronize line, capture and business development functions.
You will be required to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts virtually and in-person. You must be able to organize, manipulate, and validate data sets primarily using Excel and have proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications as well as SharePoint and Teams.
More About the Role:
Operations Support: You will provide operating group overarching support for ongoing staff processes such as:
- Support engagements with a variety of internal teams to develop current contracts or future opportunities. Support may include scheduling, meeting attendance, sourcing resources and preparation of reports and briefings.
- Assist with the development, refinement, and streamlining of operation group processes to gain and maintain efficiencies.
Business Development:
- You will assist with the development, refinement, and maintenance of business pipeline reports related to upcoming opportunities being considered and developed.
- As required, you will assist the solution development team in their pursuit of contracts relevant to the operation group.
Data Management:
- Develop an understanding of a diverse set of databases and support the development of repositories, reports, and other products on emerging needs
- Update and prepare reports for varying teams by extracting and validating data from large data sets
- Maintain uniform formatting and data entry in a detail-oriented manner
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Must currently be a full-time graduate student local to Washington, DC.
- Must effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Must have ability to fully leverage Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams etc.) with practical understanding of SharePoint.
- Must possess or be eligible for a security clearance.
- Previous work experience related to International Affairs/Policy.
- Minimum GPA of 3.75 or higher.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Pursuing a graduate degree in National Security, Intelligence, International Affairs or International Business.
- Basic understanding of the US national security apparatus, including contractor and government interactions.
- At least two years of experience supporting USSOCOM.
