We are looking for a dynamic M&A Manager “go-getter” to work with cross-functional
teams to develop IA and business unit specific strategic plans, research
potential acquisition targets and strategic investments, and eventually grow
into quarterbacking transactions from end-to-end. This person will lead
projects and work directly with the Senior Director, M&A to help formulate his
team’s inorganic strategies, develop ongoing relationships with internal
stakeholders, companies with significant future acquisition or partnership
potential and bankers.
We are looking for people who are driven, bring their best every day, highly
collaborative with management consulting, M&A experience or product
development backgrounds.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team with IA business unit leadership teams to
understand and develop their organic and inorganic strategies and
investment theses
- Conduct market research and develop analyses of
competitive landscapes
- Screen, analyze and develop a strong business case for
potential acquisitions and partnerships
- A collaborative "team player" approach to
execution and work activities
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work within a cross
functional team environment with multiple stakeholders
- Strong independent work ethic and self-starter
- Proven ability to develop, communicate and generate
buy-in on business strategies with key stakeholders
- Solid quantitative background, strong communication
skills and project management capabilities
- Ability to travel 20%
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ years experience in strategic analysis or management
consulting
- 3+ year experience in Finance

- Solid project management skills
- An understanding of how digitalization can be combined
with hardware and services to unleash value for customers

- Knowledge of the smart energy landscape
- Knowledge of the industrial sensor landscape
- Knowledge of the industrial IoT landscape
- Knowledge of the sustainability landscape
- Experience with industrial, pharmaceutical, energy,
continuous process, industrial software and/or industrial AI helpful
- Bachelor's Degree
