Minimum Education, Training and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of related experience.
Minimum requirements may vary based upon state mandates.
Special Requirements:
Must be a Clinical Supervisor in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Clinical Psychologist is appropriate for this role.
3-5 years experience of providing clinical evaluations and case management services to seriously mentally ill adults and 2-3 years of clinical supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral field. A licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner, or a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Specific work-related history in a jail or correctional environment.
Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, chemicals, oils and travel.
Working Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through, Friday 8 hour rotations; there are times this position may require and include evening hours, weekend and on-call. A commitment is made to offer scheduling flexibility as the program allows.
Entry Salary:
$97,240.00-$152,509.50 annually
