ELLKAY is looking for a Sales Development Representative that is responsible for generating new opportunities and assisting our Executive Sales team on moving existing opportunities through the sales funnel. The Regional Associate will split their time between generating net new leads/opportunities and performing sales operational/administrative duties. This is an appropriate early career position, but our ideal candidate will have some background in a client-facing role and be enthusiastic abou...t developing into a sales and account management career in the healthcare IT industry. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Outreach to net-new and cold leads in a region. Participate in lead generation activities, including events and prospecting campaign. Effectively pitch the ELLKAY narrative, services, and value proposition. Work with internal teams and our clients to reach mutually beneficial business relationships. Maintain knowledge of current market conditions. Maintain highly responsive and professional communications with clients and prospects. Use Salesforce.com and other tools to document sales activities. Influence the development of campaigns, tools, resources, incentives, and accountability metrics. Maintain a productive relationship with Internal Sales, Customer Service, and Sales
Operations.
Have a comprehensive understanding of all our product offerings. Achieve annual and quarterly goals.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required 1 years related experience in healthcare IT or laboratory industry preferred 1 year experience in outside sales, account management, or another client-facing role, preferred Experienced in lead generation / pipeline building with the use of LI, multiple databases, applications, and other social media avenues. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to learn new software quickly. Demonstrate clear and professional communications (oral and written)Ability to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task. Ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
