Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Lead Development Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for driving demand for Epson’s commercial and industrial lines of business by further qualifying leads that have been generated by marketing and scored using a marketing automation platform, as well as managing and qualifying inbound lead activity, engaging in prospecting and cold calling, and appointment setting to further Epson’s brand recognition and market penetration across North America. This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.
Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Generate Qualified Leads for Sales
• Perform a combination of inbound outbound prospecting efforts to qualify and prepare sales opportunities for Epson end-user and commercial channel sales teams
• Serves as the main point of contact to build relationships and further qualify leads that have been generated by marketing and scored using a marketing automation platform
• Engaging in prospecting and cold calling to targeted account lists and appointment setting between prospects and sales teams
• Qualify prospects against established criteria prior to passing to sales as marketing qualified leads (MQLs)
• Generate new leads for the sales organization to pursue by engaging in prospecting and cold calling to targeted account lists
• Appointment setting between prospects and sales teams
• Receive pre-determined groups of prospects back from sales to further nurture using both telephone and email
• Process inbound leads from all sources of marketing activity
• Works with manager and collaborates with product, marketing, and sales teams to build playbooks, calling guides and lead qualification criteria for specific lines of business
• Establishes a strong Epson presence within account base at decision maker and management level
• Keeps abreast of product lines and industry trends and informs Epson management on developments and trends that may impact customers’ purchases and other business activities in the near and distant future
• Identifies and understands the customer’s needs and provides solutions using Epson products, programs, and services
Effective Lead Administration
• Proficiency with Salesforce and marketing automation preferred
• Accurate and timely administration of leads, contacts, and accounts within CRM, maintaining accurate information, notes, and activities, as well as proper statuses and stages within the system
• Adheres to all administrative policies and procedures and operates within budgetary constraints
• Submits weekly activity/call reports; provide accurate weekly forecasts to the marketing and sales organizations on the volume of leads managed at any given time
