As the Manufacturing Tech- Mold Rack you will be responsible for maintaining the entire Mold Rack area. This will include but not be limited to, the following, while reporting to the Technical supervisor.
- Keeping area Safe, Clean and Organized.
- Safely Operating the Hubtex and other PIT’s when moving molds.
- Safely Staging molds for all Production areas per the Production Schedule on a daily basis
- Safely Returning production molds from Staging area or from the Production areas to the Mold rack on the proper skid and into the proper locations.
- Working closely with all Mfg techs on all shifts to ensure their molds are retrievable when needed
- Record keeping of all mold locations.
- Supporting Mold shop as needed.
When Daily Mold staging work is completed, and area is cleaned, you will then support the Mfg techs as the Production supervisor sees necessary. This will include but not be limited to the following:
As a Manufacturing Cell Tech in the Commercial Group, located in Winchester, VA you will report to a technical supervisor. This position will work as part of a team having responsibility for participating in current mold changes, starting, operating, adjusting and stopping manufacturing machinery and equipment with little or no supervision. Manufacturing techs ensure products produced meet quality standards and help drive productivity by troubleshooting problems with the molding equipment, and after molding equipment and all of the processes included. This job requires physical abilities that are not limited to but include SAFELY working in, around, and on top of Injection molding machines while installing molds and hooking up auxiliary equipment onto the machines

Participate in the Mold Change process with the other members of your team
Keep work area clean and organized
High School diploma or GED preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of education
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to lift 25lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs
Basic computer skills
Work in an environment with extreme temperatures and loud noises
Internal candidates cannot have more than 3 ½ points in attendance, or a 1st written warning within the last 3 months, 2nd written warning within the last 6 months, or final warning within the last year
Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership
Must be able to use hand tools ranging from common hand and power tools to fabrication tools
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift, cranes and other industrial vehicles experience preferred
2 or more years of mechanical or technical experience preferred
